ECMI is proud to introduce 'Es3aaf 24 Pharmacies of EPTC,' It’s 5 pharmacies open 24/7 in first stage covering 4 governates in first stage & will expand to cover all Egyptian cities in one year.
With the grace of God, the official inauguration of the development of the "Esaaf Pharmacies," , has been successfully completed. The name has been changed to "Esaaf Pharmacy 24" to reflect that these pharmacies serve patients 24 hours a day. A comprehensive development has been carried out, including the unification of the visual identity of these pharmacies, with a plan in place to expand geographically and achieve widespread distribution of the pharmacy chain across all Egyptian governorates within a year.

As the first phase, the development of the Esaaf Pharmacy 24 in Ramses has been completed, offering a modern service that befits the Egyptian citizen, including the activation of a waiting service. Esaaf Pharmacy 24 in the Al-Amiriyah area of Cairo has also been opened, as well as branches in the governorates of Mansoura and Assiut. Furthermore, the development of Esaaf Pharmacy in Alexandria will commence, with the aim to implement the Esaaf 24 model across all governorates to ensure the provision of excellent pharmaceutical services to the Egyptian public.

Dr. Ahmed Afifi, Group chief executive officer of the Egyptian Medical Investments Company, highlighted during the opening event of the Ambulance Pharmacy 24 via video conference, in the presence of Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly the key efforts of the Esaaf Pharmacies, noting that these pharmacies work to provide medications that are scarce in the Egyptian market. They also offer medications that positively affect the patient’s mental health, in cooperation with the Egyptian Drug Authority. Additionally, these pharmacies provide all types of regular and therapeutic baby formula, insulin, and cancer medications that are difficult to find in regular pharmacies.

The Prime Minister also watched a video showcasing the development plan for the Egyptian Esaaf Pharmacies, which emphasized their role as an essential part of Egypt's healthcare infrastructure. These pharmacies are a vital complement to the Egyptian Pharmaceutical Trading Company, playing a crucial role in providing a comprehensive range of medications, both local and imported. Their mission is to improve the quality of healthcare and ensure safe access to treatment for patients.

It was noted that around half a million patients visit these pharmacies annually, presenting an ongoing challenge to effectively meet their needs. Hence, a comprehensive development of the Esaaf Pharmacies has been carried out in line with Egypt’s vision to support the healthcare sector and enhance the secure supply of medicines, especially in times of crisis. This development is also in response to the Prime Minister's recommendations to maximize the benefits of these pharmacies in securing essential medications for patients, particularly during emergencies.
